Today we visited the brand new Bunjil Place Library. Opened in 2017, it’s a brand spanker set in a wonderful complex for the City of Casey in Narre Warren (better known as Fountain Lakes for you Kath & Kim fans) in the South East of Melbourne. It’s an amazing building and you really can’t miss it on the Princess Highway.

It’s set over three different levels, and is a great place to learn new things, discover a new book and more importantly for families, kill an afternoon for free! The boys really enjoyed some of the chill out zones, looking up various titles on the computers and searching for their favourite series on the shelves. These days with so much digital technology, you tend to take for granted things what we always experienced as children.
As it’s still new, and part of a wider complex over the summer school holidays, it was packed with activities including street performers and music. There are also plenty of outdoor activities and play areas. It’s a great spot to get #todoing with your family.
