We love a good station stay, and in this weeks episode we stay at two different stations. Both provide different unique experiences and both shouldn’t be missed.

We arrived late last night into @warroora_station just as the sun was starting to set. We had big dreams of turquoise waters, a spot on the beach, swimming, snorkelling and fishing the days away. We drove in to stunning colours and heaps of huge termite mounds. Then reality hit! Post Mothers Day this place is flat out. The waiting list for the beach sites was over 18 people long, with no hope of getting close to the beach in the next week. Everyone is set in for weeks on end! There are plenty of overflow spots though, for us up on the Ridge will be the go. Other sites further down are ok for smaller vans, with good reports on Sandy Point and possibly the Lagoon. Not too many families here as not too many good swimming spots nearby. In saying that this place is just 10 bucks per adult per night, kids under 16 free. So value there if ok to daytrip around. Great sunsets over the water too. We plan to base ourselves here and day trip around the place, hopefully to some beautiful spots we have heard about here in Coral Bay. We just need Steph to swim with a turtle, JD and Harry to catch a fish on a lure and we are AOK!

Bullara Station was very quirky, and one of our all time favourite stays,so far this trip. Lot’s to see and do!
On our way up to the station stays from Perth, you pass by Canarvon. Now this is a unique town with a lot of NASA type history. It was involved in the Apollo space missions, helping to land the first man on the moon!
We used Warroora as a base for a lot of adventure, driving over sand dunes, going the back way to Five Fingers Reef and of course to check out the beautiful Coral Bay.
Check out our video above for all of the details on what we got up to in this amazing part of Western Australia, the Coral Coast!
