The QLD Dinosaur Trail takes in a triangle between Winton, Hughenden and Richmond. It was our first stop on the way across from the NT, via the Outback Way. Winton was the next stop after Boulia.
Winton was a great place to kick off the Dinosaur Trail, home of The Australian Age of Dinosaurs. We also headed towards Opalton for the Dinosaur Stampede and a spot of Opal Fossicking.
After fun in Winton and Opalton we headed for Richmond, home of a once massive inland sea. Whilst here, we spent a day on a cattle station.
To finish off the trail we rolled into Hughenden to learn about the Muttabuttasaurus that once roamed locally.
