Wow, who thinks road trips can be boring? Think again! Well now I’m going to keep you busy in the car.
To get
organised
First, you need to make sure your car
has all the stuff to keep you busy.
This might include: books, a drawing book, a device, (optional) and some snacks.
Fun games
First, you could look out the window. There are stacks of things to look at while you are driving. Nature is amazing! You might see hills, farms, red dust, bush, towns, cities and desert. Australia has so much to look at. You could even play BINGO to find things.
Once you’ve got bored you can get out your drawing book and a pen/pencils/texta/paint.
Here’s some fun games that I’ve learnt
in the car.
The first game is called
paddocks,
To play paddocks you need to draw out
a board like this

Next, you need to take in turns doing
one line each, the aim is to make as many squares as you can,
Next, is a game called word
letter change.
To play this game you need to make a board
that looks like this:
Black

Change one letter at a time and
change black to white.

Naughts and crosses
To play this game you need to draw two vertical and two horizontal lines crossing (we all know what a naughts and crosses board looks like!)
To play this game you need to choose a x or a 0. Next you need to take in turns putting your chosen character in a box and try and get 3 in a row.
Toys
In the car we also have a bag full of fidget things.
Inside it we have things like this:
This is helpful if you get fidgety or need something to do, This can be in any bag.
Well that’s it, I hope you won’t get bored in the car again
