Esperance is somewhere just about everyone on the East Coast has heard about. A distant oasis, far away in the west, where beautiful beaches combine with stunning national parks and of course Kangaroos on the beach!
It’s actually part of the Golden Outback here in WA, and we started in Kalgoorlie at the top before heading on down.
When planning out our itinerary, we couldn’t wait to get to Cape Le Grand National Park and more specifically Lucky Bay in Western Australia.
Lucky Bay in particular is amazing, just out of Esperance in the Cape Le Grand National Park. We had a great time there hiking up Frenchman’s Peak, swimming and fishing the beaches.
Lucky Bay was simply stunning. The National Park itself has a heap to do, with stunning scenary. But one thing, just outside Cape Le Grand, was a little different. We saw it and headed in to check it out.
