Was this a fun day out, or what!? We were so excited!
Adventure World in Perth had something for all of us. From Dragon Kingdom for the kids to vertical drop rollarcoasters for the bigger kids, water play areas and a massive selection of water slides, we were on the go all day.
There is a great shelter with a free BBQ…you will find this a great spot to meet up for happy hour and a chance to chat with other travelers.
Our boys are at a great age to travel and try new things, and they have a perfect sense of adventure for Adventure World. Harry (6) could not get enough of the flying dragons, barrel spin and mini roller coaster in Dragon Kingdom. Even us parents had some fun (although admittedly a little squeezy at times, these rides are made for kids!).
When it was time to venture further afield, we headed
straight for The Abyss roller coaster. Alex and Harry cheered us on as Jed
braved the vertical drop, sandwiched between Mum and Dad. The race track was
our next stop, and was perfect for everyone to be involved, even supplying
closed toe shoes for those who were already dressed for the water. Racing
around on go carts will never get old!
After a good feed for lunch it was time to get wet! Some of us went to the double tube option down the serpent, whilst others opted for the single mats and rapids. A family race, face first down Tidal Wave was a definite highlight.
Racing up the steps for the water slides certainly works up an appetite, and an ice cream by the pool hit the spot.
Whilst we barely stopped all day, there was still stacks more to do and rides that we would have loved to revisit. A must do for those with a sense of adventure!
