The Bungle Bungles is really hard to get to. Not only is it out of the way for many travellers, the road in is generally one of the worst a visitor may even ever travel on! But once you get in to the Bungle Bungles, it really is a little oasis.
We did a whole day exploring the Bungle Bungles. We utilised the Spring Creek free camp on the main road as our base, heading in and then out in a day. Ideally you might take some tents in and stay for a night to ensure you see it all in a more relaxed fashion. In saying that, we did almost all we wanted too!
The Purnululu National Park is full of natural wonders. It is also spread out amazingly far. One end houses the stunning Echidna Gorge.
At the other end, the seemingly perfect bee hive shapes of the domes. Both not to be missed!
A trip to the Bungle Bungles in the Purnululu National Park is well worth the effort. Take your time, get there and explore an amazing wonder right here in Australia.
