Sure, we’d heard of El Questro. But we never really appreciated just how big and beautiful this place is!
Home to Zebedee Springs, this was the first stop on a trip out from the homestead. We packed breakfast, got there early and were rewarded by beating the crowds.
There is a great 4WD track taking you up and around the station, finishing up at the Pigeon Hole Lookout. We took the challenge and were blown away by the views.
With confidence at an all time high, we braved the El Questro Gorge river crossing (without a snorkel) and were rewarded with a fantastic walk through the gorge, ending at an amazing water hole.
Emma Gorge is part of the station, and no visit is complete without popping in for the amazing walk, waterfall and perhaps a coffee or beer at the resort.
It’s an amazing place, but like any family, the pricing seemed a bit too much. In saying that, value was there, it’s worth the price of admission and camping to explore an amazing part of the Kimberley.
