We made it to our nation’s capital, Canberra!
The previous week we had stayed in Sydney, and we were excited to move from a state capital to the capital of Australia.
There is stacks to see and do in Canberra. We squeezed in visits to Parliament House, the Royal Australian Mint, Questacon and the Australian War Memorial.
A handy tip for homeschooling and distance education families, check out the Canberra Teacher’s Pass. It will save you a stack of cash on entry fees to some of the big attractions.
We had previously visited a number of memorials around Australia, including the national ANZAC centre in Albuny, and the Geralton Sydney memorial, so found half a day at the Australian War Memorial to be sufficient. You could easily spend a day or more though, as the memorial and its exhibits are HUGE!
Check out our video above to see exactly what we got up to, and as always, we would love it if you can subscribe to our channels. Thanks for following!
